The fasteners originally called garnier limbs are no longer produced or for sale anywhere. The Treehouse Attachment Bolts ("TABs") sold on this website were derived from the original garnier limbs that were created in part by Michael Garnier, Charley Greenwood, Jonathan Fairoaks, and others in the late 1990s. The treehouse realm owes them a debt of gratitude not only for garnier limbs, but for the countless other treehouse innovations they inspired. You'll see that our Treehouse Anchor Bolts look similar to the garnier limb, but there are a few important improvements if you read the specs. While the original Garnier Limbs were a big step forward in their time, the fastener that was originally called the garnier limb was only the beginning of the modern series of Treehouse Attachment Bolts.
